I love these shorts, I have them in the tan, black and green. The waist band in this older version of Aphrodite motion shorts are perfection (not too tight and uncomfortable, but the elastic hugs you and is secure). To recognize it's the older version, it has the slit on the side of the shorts, the newer version does not have the slit. On the newer version, the elastic waist is too tight and not flattering squeezing the wrong places. I am a medium in this older version while I'm a large in the newer not as great one.
