These UB121's in size 32 are my first pair of raw denim. I think my waist is around a 33.5, and the jeans were super tight in the waist (could barely button it up) and thigh (almost skin tight). However, I've worn them every evening after work for about a week, and the waist and thighs have loosened a decent amount. Some of the pros and cons I've noticed so far:Pros:-Substantial fabric. I was looking for a heavier pair of jeans with winter approaching, and these definitely fit the bill.-Fit. They were a little tight at first, but the fit in pretty much all areas has worked out well for me.-Construction. I've heard of people having issues with button popping off or having loose threads all over the place. I have not experienced this personally, and those buttons were definitely strained consistently in the beginning. Only time will tell if they hold up-Price. Great deal compared to most of the other brands I was looking at. Only time will tell if the quality reflects the cheaper price point.Cons:-The rise. This is the only area the the fit is kind of an issue. The rise is too low, meaning not a whole lot of room for the boys down there. It's bearable now, but I'm hoping with time the top block will loosen up a bit to give more breathing room.-The pockets. They.. are.. tiny! Not only are they small, but it's a battle to get anything out of them due to the size of the front pocket opening, and stiffness of the thick fabric. I also think the back pockets are a bit large, but much less of an issue compared to the front pockets.Overall I'm definitely happy with my purchase. I think they're going to become a great pair of comfortable personalized jeans. I would recommend utilizing Amazon's return policy and try a few pairs in different sizes/styles to see which fits you best. Go with the tighter pair, because they will definitely stretch.Seriousish entry-level denim -- needed to have the legs tapered and hemmed because I'm a stick-ish 1.6m/68kg and they looked more boot-cut than skinny fit -- make sure your tailor's machines can handle it! After the seamstresses at two local Nordstroms gave me blank/horrified looks when I showed them the jeans and described the alterations I wanted, I ended up going to a guy who operates out of a specialty shop that stocks some raw denim, and even his machine ended up needing some brute-force to get the job done. They start out incredibly dark, but mine are now noticeably lighter at 1.5 months of nearly 24/7 wear (no washes, occasional rain, and ~7 heavy mistings with water + corn-starch -- no offensive smells yet, either (and I sweat quite a bit). I can only detect a faint accumulated nose of something like "indigo/boot+bike grease/bus-air/dog/earth"). They've faded completely white in a few small high-contact areas like the back center belt-loop.Form is already well established and I only have one fade that is trying to shift, probably because of heavy rain. Knee-bags are not an issue, but I do take care to keep my upper/lower leg angle acute while sitting, aaabd my only comparison is dealing with horrible ballooning of unsanfordized 501's.My one complaint is that my top button (unfixably) popped apart about two weeks in, but I'm assuming it was a fluke, as the others have all held up fine.TL;DR -- these make my double-front workpants look and feel like pajama bottoms whilst still being comfortable and looking pretty nice, and my only negative point is that one button popped off. Be ready to at least have them hemmed, and try to take them to a tailor who knows what they're working with.I love this pair of denim the fit great and feel goodThis fits exactly as expected, as I already have a pair of the regular 14oz. unbranded's in skinny fit. The main difference is how heavy they are (obviously). My only complaints are the pockets are way too shallow. You can't fit an iphone without it sticking out, and when you sit down, you'll have to take the phone out of your pocket. I'm seriously considering taking it to the tailor to see if they can cut the pocket and extend it. Other than that these are amazing. These are not jeans for someone who hasn't experience raw denim though. The break in period to get these comfortable is at least a few weeks of wear. The first time I put them on, I couldn't get them off without my wife helping. Everything is super stiff, and the buttons are hard to undo. I've worn them for 9-10 days now, and they're very comfortable. Not soft or broken in yet, but I can sit and walk normally. Still, I don't know what they were thinking with the front pockets, good luck fitting anything in there.Have had, Iron heart, Momotaro, naked and famous, number of white oak based brands, classic Levi’s and on the lower grade side true religion, Lucky, Uniqlo, G-star.... (if you are thinking True religion jeans are “nice” jeans, well you are paying/looking for something other then quality)Ub121 are a perfect fit, not to baggy and not trendy skinny. They feel like a typical 21oz, will break in nice denim. We will see how the indigo holds on as things progress. All and all unbranded has a perfect price, good quality denim, that is NOT entry level denim ( I love it when people confuse price with quality and becose something is not $400 it’s entry level, cracks me up).Solid product, solid price, well done.Side note I picked up a pair of ub301 at the same time as these (this review for the ub121). I am a true 33 waist and the waist on the ub121 is slightly bigger @34 where the ub301 is true to size. Either way is good just depends on your washing strategy.
